2021 ICAN天津同乡会理事会换届通告
金秋在即，时光滴答，我们迎来了ICAN天津同乡会的第四届换届。自从第三任会长谢琰因个人原因在八月辞去会长职务后，社团过渡理事会上下同心协力，其间的各项组织活动（中秋文化周，公益课堂，排球羽毛球游泳活动，网上丰富多彩活动等等）都取得良好效果，并吸引了许多新老会员。
过渡理事会在十月举行换届选举，一致推选原副会长高歌女士接任第四届同乡会会长。在此次理事会换届过程中，参会理事审议并明确了新的目标与努力方向。百废待举，百端待兴，大家一致表示愿为同乡会的健康，持续发展贡献微薄的力量。

Welcome the new President Gloria Gao!
The New President,
Gloria Gao, MBA, MSc, MMgt, PMP
Gloria brings over 15 years' management experience with an extensive background in strategic planning, business operations, financial and human resource management and stakeholder engagement. She has intensive interactions with various stakeholder groups in both public and private sectors. Besides her professional career, she is an avid volunteer and community builder in her community serving as a board director of ASSIST Community Service Centre and was Treasurer for SWKC Minor Hockey for two terms.
The Resignation

It is with regret that I need to make my decision to resign as the President of ICAN as of 5 Aug 2021.
My family commitments and work schedule have made it impossible to give the board the time it requires to be truly effective in my position.
From March 2021 till my resignation, I was honoured to serve as President of ICAN.
In total, I have been a member for 7 years. During this period, I have seen substantial growth and am confident the Board will continue to grow in my absence.
Thank you for giving me the chance to work with ICAN. I look forward to hearing about the continued successes of ICAN.
